The demands we place on ourselves and our bodies in such a fast paced life requires great strength, flexibilty and cardiovascular fitness. As we age our activity level tends to reduce and this has a two fold effect on our state of health and thus effects both our psychological and physiological condition.
We all know that activity is good for us but why don’t we do it? There are many reasons but the good news is that we don’t need to move into the gym to be healthy, live pain free lives and wake up every morning with a zest for life.
Activity Therapy gives you the tools to move in the most effective, time efficient manner in order to maximise results and minimise time away from family and daily commitments. I use a range of functional exercises & movement patterns alongside developing local and global joint stability.
I have helped countless clients lose weight, rehabilitate post surgery/injury, achieve their fitness and sporting goals over a eighteen year career as a Health Professional. However my greatest achievement is helping all of my clients enjoy being active and make it part of their daily life.
I have years of experience educating clients to be active safely with the following medical conditions: Clinical Obesity, MSK disorders, Respiratory disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease variants.
My activity prescription is all about you; so no generic programmes or unrealistic targets. Just simple goals and a logical path to reaching them.
